LA Couple session....

I been having some itching ideas to travel to LA to so some new ideas. I was lucky to come a crossed this LA loving couple to do just that. This couple was fun and had great chemistry with each other. It made my job very easy to do. They choose the first location that was an amazing place but was told that we couldn’t do photography due to a commercial already being filmed there. Oh that was like telling a fat kid not to eat cake! I wanted nothing more to pull my camera out and try to be a ninja running around that huge location. I did behave and will hold off for another day. I did how ever get a few other great locations and had a great time shooting with my entourage and this cute couple. I love fun session that I can make my ideas come to life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Oh btw I’m in love with urban light! If you have time and in the LA area check them out, just gorgeous!

Beautiful April Wedding.....

I had a Beautiful April wedding to shoot a few weeks ago. This wedding session started early in the morning with Bride and wedding party hair and make-up and the day just kept going till midnight! long day but this wedding was great from start to finish!

From the first time talking with this Bride I knew she was a Bride that knew what she had wanted had a vision of what her wedding to be like. We instantly clicked and I love all her ideas she was looking to do. After a year of planning the day had came and I was excited and ready to executed this wedding and all the Brides ideas. I was a bit nervous for one of the ideas that this bride wanted to do and it was a last min idea which I think made it nervous for me. She wanted to do a few photos with sparklers and had seen the idea done with a few photos she had come a crossed. I had never played with that kind of lighting before and night photography is very tricky but I have to say I do love what came out of that night. I now have a new love for night photography and lights. This defiantly sparked my interest!

This Bride and Groom were amazing together, and their wedding will forever stick out in my head. They really out did the wedding with all the details and even down to their first dance. I loved that these two put on dance show, the wedding elegant and had a touch of old tradions which I hadn’t seen in so long. These two were defiantly a special couple to me and I have to say thank you for letting me be apart and trusting that I would do exactly what you both envisioned.

Laguna Engagement session

I love when I have out of location session, I'm like a kid in a candy and toy store. It's worse for me when its a location I've never shot at before. For weeks I had been thinking of this session with this lovely couple. Knowing I was going to be in a few new places with a great locations I swear I lost sleep thinking of ideas. I have to let you in on a secret with this session, everything I had planned I tossed right out the door and just went with it. The session turned out better than I had planned and sometimes you have to go with your photography sense which always works out best. The first location was great I had never seen an area have some many looks in the matter of mins. The more we walked the more the trails and scenery change. I loved the location and will probably shoot there again in the future. As for this couple they were great, I had them climbing trees, grassy hills, getting wet and sandy at the beach and I had not one complaint for then about it. This couple had a love for each other and for nature. Here is this couples sneak peek for their great session.

Its been a while.....

It's been a long while since my last post, I have to admit that its getting hard to update everything form one session to another. The process is long after a photo session or wedding is done. We photographers put many hours in front of our computers to make the photographs perfect to our liking. Then after all the editing we then have to sit and update on our websites, blogs, Facebook, Facebook fan page, galleries, oh the list goes on and on. I am happy to say my absents from the blog is not from lack of work but from tons of work. So for this post I will show a run down of recent work. I have some couples sessions, Engagements sessions and a fun session I did with my son around St. Patties day. (yes, yes a bit out of date here but I still love to show you his cuteness).

For this couple I wanted to do more of a natural desert setting. I had once shot a session in this area years ago and thought it would be a perfect spot for this couple. I have to say with a few stops and detours...Opps for me to think I would remember right where this place was, we found the spot I had been looking for. Now when young couples book with me I usually warn them ahead of time that its going to be an adventure, and there is usually climbing, hiking and nature involved. This did ring true for these to adventures couple. We walked down a few trails and made a few of our own, there was great old fallen trees that made for wonderful background setting with the golden textures of nature. No I couldn’t have asked for a better session location for this couple. The high light of the day was right after I was looking at this beautiful couples promise ring I seen when looking at the side of the ring there was a heart shaped opening then looked down to see a heart shaped leaf....aww perfect! Love when my session go better than planned. Here is a few shots from this great session.

Oh my cute Son. So what is it like to be a photographers child? Well sadly photographer kids become our models for ideas and for when we get a itch to use our trigger finger. My son's been my little model all his life and it just won’t stop here. As he get older the cuteness grows and I'm not just saying that cause he is mine...ha-ha but yes I think that cause I am his Mother. I decided to do a St Patties shoot and with the few items I had on hand and a quick drive to the end of my neighbor street… Pow! Instead photo session. Now when this session started my Son said "Mom only take like 10 photos" ha-ha never say that to a Mother with a camera. The session was quick but I do have a wonderfully trained model! Here is his cuteness in action.

Now for the last session I'm posting in this post. I had a great couple that to photograph their Engagement session. We first were thinking of a local location but nothing in our area was fitting the fit to what this couple wanted. So after a few thought we took a day to Temecula for a fun session. Now I get this a lot from my brides to be, they say that the grooms to be are not photo guys and they don’t like to smile or take photos, but when the day comes I find many of these men to be just fine and sometimes have more fun with the session than all of us. I'm happy to know that I can make almost anyone want to smile! This couple was fun and I can't wait to post their smiling faces of their wedding day coming up in a few months!
